What to Expect at Our Service

 A friendly casual atmosphere

  • Sound teaching of God’s Word
  • Genuine worship through music, teaching, and fellowship
  • Fellowship with one another which includes our coffee/cookie break

 First Time Here?

Here are some practical things you may want to know:

  • Church services are at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. at the Cottonwood Community Center.
  • Sunday School is offered for adults in the library. (This is suspended as of June 2020 while we meet at the Community Center)
  • After announcements and worship singing, we have a fellowship coffee/cookie break before the sermon.
  • During the sermon, there is a nursery for infants to age 2 and jr. church for children from age 3 to 8. (This is suspended as of              June 2020 while we meet at the Community Center)
  • We believe in multiple leadership and do not have a pastor. One way this is demonstrated is in our Sunday teaching schedule.            Our five elders and sometimes other men from the body teach on a rotating basis.
  • We believe that giving should not be pressured, but out of loving obedience to God.  Therefore, we place a box for gifts and                  tithes  on the table near the door instead of passing an offering plate.
There are many opportunities to get involved in house churches and Bible studies and we encourage you to do so. We have active jr. high and high school youth groups with Bible studies and fun activities. Please look around the website to get to know us and contact us if you have any questions, needs, or prayer requests.
